Before assembling, connecting and using the device, please read this manual carefully. In case of any problems with understanding its content, please contact the seller of the device. Self-assembly and commissioning of the device is possible provided that the appropriate tools are used. Nevertheless, it is recommended that the device be installed by qualified personnel.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage that may result from improper installation or operation of the device, as well as from performing independent repairs and modifications.

1. Characteristics of the outer case
Equipped with a protective canopy, the external cassette is designed for surface mounting, with a protection factor of IP65, which enables the correct operation of the video intercom even in difficult weather conditions. The high-quality camera ensures excellent image parameters, also at night - thanks to the IR LEDs and the twilight sensor, which enables the viewing of the surroundings of the external cassette with insufficient light intensity. In addition, the device allows you to enter using a code - the encrypted backlight makes it easier to operate the device at night.

2. Construction of the external cassette
The structure of the VDA-51C5 external cassette is shown in Fig. 1.

3. installation of the external cassette
The external cassette is factory-adapted for surface mounting.

practical notes on the assembly of the external cassette

Avoid places where the camera lens is exposed to direct, perpendicular exposure to light rays (sun, headlights, street lighting), as this may cause its incorrect operation and significantly reduce visibility.

(!) ATTENTION!
The correct location of the external cassette determines the comfort of working with the device. Hence, it is recommended to experimentally select the place of installation of the external cassette before drilling the assembly hole. To do this, first install the
monitor by connecting it (according to the recommendations in "Monitor Installation") with the external cassette, which should be held by another person during the test. Next, connect the mains power and start choosing the right place for the installation of
the external cassette. The person holding the external cassette should simulate normal operation of the device and call the second person at the monitor by pressing the call button. During this time, the person at the monitor should observe the camera's field
of view. The person holding the external cassette, based on the suggestion of his interlocutor, has to set it in the optimal position.

(!) ATTENTION!
If the cassette is installed in a place not protected against rainfall, it is necessary to install a cover above the cassette to prevent water from getting inside.

DAMAGE CAUSED BY FLOODING CASSETTE IS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY!
