PRELIMINARY NOTES
Before assembling, connecting and using the device, please read this manual carefully. In case of any problems with understanding its content, please contact the seller of the device.
Self-assembly and commissioning of the device is possible provided that the appropriate tools are used. Nevertheless, it is recommended that the device be installed by qualified personnel.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage that may result from improper installation or operation of the device, as well as from performing independent repairs and modifications.

1. CHARACTERISTICS OF DEVICES
External cassettes:
  • VDA-61C5 - single-family
they are compatible with 4-wire monitors from the Eura AHD system.

The cassette VDA-61C5 is equipped with a color CMOS camera operating at maximum speed.
1080P resolution, there is a proximity tag reader, the cassette has an aluminum case and is designed for surface mounting.

Fig. 1. External structure of the VDA-64C5 cassette, serving 4 tenants.

2. INSTALLATION
The external cassette is factory-adapted for surface mounting.

Practical considerations regarding the installation of the external cassette

Avoid places where the camera lens is exposed to direct, perpendicular exposure to light rays (sun, headlights, street lighting), as this may cause its incorrect operation and significantly reduce visibility.

(!) ATTENTION!
The correct location of the external camera module determines the comfort of working with the device. Hence, it is recommended to experimentally select the installation site of the external module before drilling the mounting holes. To do this, first install the monitor and connect it electrically to the external cassette. Another person should hold the monitor on while testing. Next, connect the device to the 230V / 50Hz mains via the power supply and proceed to the selection of the appropriate location for the camera module installation. The person holding the external cassette should simulate the normal operation of the device, i.e. by pressing the button, call the second person at the monitor. During this time, the person at the monitor should observe the field of view of the camera. The person holding the camera module, based on the suggestion of his interlocutor, must set it in the optimal position.

Mounting method:
1. Unscrew the two bottom fixing screws and separate the cassette from the hood.
2. Mark the places for the mounting pins on the wall through the 4 holes in the protective roof.
3. In the marked places, drill 4 Ø5mm mounting holes and then place 4 mounting pins in them (Fig. 3).
4. Use 4 mounting screws to fix the protective canopy to the wall.
5. Connect the 4 cores of the cable going to the monitor to the external cassette.
6. Place the outer cassette in the protective canopy previously attached to the wall using the hole for attaching the canopy and screw the two lower fixing screws (fig. 3).

(!) ATTENTION!
Do not make any connections or changeover of cables while the device is connected to the power supply. Failure to do so may damage the device! Disconnect the power supply before assembling or disassembling the device!

2.1. INSTALLING A LABEL
In order to place a label with the name of the premises, remove the business card holder cover by gently levering the business card holder cover in the cut-out place using a screwdriver. After placing the name of the premises, place the plug in the opposite way to its removal.

3. CALL SCHEME
Depending on the version of the cassette (number of tenants), a different number of connection sockets J1, J2, J3, J4 are available at the back of the cassette (e.g. the 2-storey version VDA-62C5 has 2 sockets: J2 and J3). An exemplary connection diagram of a VDA-64C5 4-storage cassette with a compatible monitors and an electromagnetic lock are shown in Fig. 5.

REMARKS
  1. The entrance gate is controlled by a relay whose NO (normally open) contacts are brought out to terminals 7 and 8 of the monitor.
  2. Any power and telecommunications cables in direct contact with the cables connecting the external cassette with the monitor may adversely affect the operation of the entire set.
  3. In order for the set consisting of a monitor, cassette and additional devices (bolt, automatic entrance gate) to function properly, a separate power source must be connected to the external cassette.

CAUTION
The connection with the electromagnetic lock should be made with a 2 x 0.75mm cable, similarly in the case of connection with the optional automatic gate operator. The optimal solution will be to use one 4-core cable connecting the monitor with the external cassette, one 2-core cable connecting the external cassette with the electromagnetic lock and one 2- core cable connecting the monitor with the entrance gate operator. If the user has connection cables other than those recommended, their use is allowed, however, a trial connection of the set should be made in order to check the correctness of its operation.

  1. In standby mode, slide the key fobADDthree times in a period of 15 seconds. Entering the programming mode will be signaled by blinking "card reader logo" on the front panel of the device.
  2. We shift the user key fobs to be programmed one by one, when the fob is passed in front of the reader, the buzzer will emit a BI BI prompt, indicating that the user's key fob has been added.
  3. When all users' key fobs have been added, it is enough to put the main key fob against it ADDto the reader to complete the add operation.

4.3. REMOVING USER LOCKS

  1. In standby mode, slide the key fobDELETEthree times in a period of 15 seconds. Entering the programming mode will be signaled by blinking "card reader logo" on the front panel of the device.
  2. We move the users' key fobs to be removed one by one, when the fob is passed in front of the reader, the buzzer will emit a BI BI prompt, indicating that the user's key fob has been removed.
  3. When all users' key fobs are removed, it is enough to put the main fob onDELETEto the reader to complete the delete operation.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF PARTICULAR ELEMENTS OF THE SET

If the camera's eye gets dirty, clean it only with a soft, slightly damp cloth with the addition of a small amount of cleaning agents designed for cleaning the components. plastic materials.
